Spielberg's 'Disclosure Day' lands on Peacock Oct. 9
The UFO conspiracy thriller starring Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor streams this week.

Steven Spielberg's latest film, "Disclosure Day," arrives on Peacock on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. The movie follows meteorologist Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt) and security expert Daniel Kellner (Josh O’Connor) as they uncover a government cover-up of extraterrestrial evidence.
According to Space.com, the plot centers on Kellner going whistleblower after learning the U.S. has suppressed proof of alien life for decades. That puts him in the crosshairs of Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth), the CEO of shady contractor Wardex. Fairchild joins Kellner in connecting the dots, aided by a few woodland creatures.
Spielberg has said of the story, "all of this is true," a line that has sparked plenty of discussion. The film was written by David Koepp and scored by John Williams, with Spielberg and Kristie Macosko Krieger as executive producers.
For those in the U.S., "Disclosure Day" streams on Peacock starting Oct. 9. Subscriptions start at $12.99/month with ads, or $19.99/month for ad-light and downloads. A Walmart Plus trial ($1) can also unlock Peacock access. The movie is produced by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.
Whether the truth is out there or not, this is a tale of what happens when someone decides to share it.
